I'd certainly ride on a pink Zhed.

I highly doubt that would ever happen though.

That is never going to happen. It would require too many resources to even begin to make that change. I much prefer the Live Team spends its time on new content.

Sadly, not possible now, but if the team found a loophole around the system to add that feature without the need of recoding stuff, it'd be one of the best things they could do for GW1 now, besides balancing it out.

I think putting manpower into creating pink armor for Koss is time and money well spent.

That's just my two cents.

seeing as they are seriously considering letting people take 7 heroes out into the wild this would be a great addition. especially after gw2 comes out and there won't be that many people on.

I don't particularly want this, tbh, even if the time/money/resources/effort required wasn't taken into account. I's prefer each armor set to remain in the colours they are. Certain colours don't make sense. /notsigned.

I don't think all of the hero armor was meant to be dyable. It is possible for some, and some dyable areas could possibly be created, but I don't think they were designed with that in mind.

That said - in terms of resources, technically it would just need a good amount of an armor artist's time (such as Susan or Kristen) to create this, then a programmer's time (Joe Kimmes) to implement this. However, when it comes to armor/character artist's work on GW1, I think I'd rather have new costumes and NPC models.

It's been a while since almost all Sardelac's suggestions are said not to be easily implemented by the live team, so i think that now it's all a matter of what people would theoretically, in a dreamworld, like to see. There may be some very important problems that we can hope will be addressed despite the lack of resources, but they're not many, as it seems.

So, from the "dreamworld" point of view i see nothing in heroes' armors being dyable that would hurt the gameplay. To put it with other words, if there were the resources, i would have nothing against this.

Just out of curiosity, why not? After all, even the heroes' armor upgrades are merely cosmetic.

From the "dreamworld" standpoint, yes, I would like this

From a realistic standpoint, I want 7 hero team implementation and skill/content updates far more.

Dyeing the armor of a hero that you cannot see in town and that you only see outside, where you should be killing things instead of choosing if Koss should be baby blue or flashy pink may seem fun, but it's also pointless.

Now letting people get the same armors as heroes, that I would love. And henchmen too *looks at Eve*.

I could agree with you, but heroes' armor upgrades cannot be seen in outposts, too. It's indeed pointless, but there are people who like their heroes to look pretty, and i don't see anything harmful with it. And however, nowadays heroes do all the killing work so we can stand there watching their armour

It would make it much easier to do a Guild Wars based machinima. Wonder if anybody's ever done one of those.
